Joe Bianchi

Birthplace: Origgio, Italy
Last Known Location: Victoria, TX

Moved with family to Victoria, Texas in 1885. Joe's brother, Paul, opened a blacksmith shop in 1886 and Joe joined him in the late 1890s. Bianchi spurs can be recognized by its bottle opener shank, Mexican silver coins, stationary buttons and unique rowel pin covers. Bianchi spurs are marked with either Bianchi on one spur and Victoria Tex on the other or Hand Forged inside the heel band of both spurs. Joe remained active making spurs, bits and branding irons until his death at age 78 in 1949.
